Grow is an initiative within Church of the Highlands to help other churches increase their attendance by providing coaching sessions, regional trainings, and marketing resources among many other things. The management system the team used to keep track of their partner churches was not scaling to meet the demands of the Grow team or the church leaders that relied on the system. The current system also lacked an efficient, user friendly interface which caused many headaches for team members.
When it was first suggested we partner with the team at Airship I was hesitant. I do not exist in the world of building or designing applications, and in previous projects I often felt left behind, lost and frustrated. The company never seemed to care if I didn’t understand the next step and never went the extra mile to ensure my voice was being heard.
I remember walking into the first meeting with Trent and Adam worried this experience would be like all the others. But it only took a few minutes for me to see that these guys were different. They didn’t approach the project as something only their team would handle, but created an engaging atmosphere where everyone could contribute. Every meeting was efficient, creative and fun! I never felt lost or confused, but step-by-step understood the direction we were headed.
The team at Airship went the extra mile to understand the vision of our company and the heart behind what we do. They got to know us on a personal and professional level. Because they took the time to understand our heart, they were able to come to the table with ideas that in the end made our project better.
