As a Voyage Project Navigator at Airship, I have the privilege of walking Passengers through the What’s Next season of their applications. By helping to coordinate user research, best UX practices, beta testing and maintenance of applications I work with our long term clients to help them be as successful as possible. As a company-to-client liaison and have the opportunity to work with a variety of brilliant Web builders, Opportunity Explorers and Shipwrights to make that communication as flawless as possible. It is my job as a Project Navigator to know the ins and outs of every project, and to ensure that it stays within a specific timeline and budget. At Airship, we have the chance to work with a wide variety clients and projects and it makes my job that much more enjoyable as I build relationships with each of them.
Before working at Airship, I had the honor of graduating from Samford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. Directly after college, I decided to stay in Birmingham and began working in the field of Physical Therapy at Champion Sports Medicine. I stayed there for almost three years working as a Physical Therapy Aide and Patient Services Manager. I loved building relationships within the community and serving the patients there every day. During my time there, I gained valuable organizational skills and learned how to effectively communicate – skills I use daily as a Project Navigator.
In my free time, I love to do all things crafty, cooking and baking while listening to audio books and finding reasons to use my miter saw. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, and visiting with my little brother Cameron that is currently in college at Auburn. Although I am originally from Nashville, I truly love Birmingham and watching it grow into the city that it has become today. I take advantage of any excuse to explore the Magic City, while eating at all the awesome restaurants and breweries around town.
