Elizabeth Anderson

Lead Project Navigator

As the Lead Project Navigator, I ensure that Airship has processes and tools in place to achieve project success, that our Navigators are well-equipped to chart the course for each project, and that we are providing the best experience possible for our clients. I work closely with Opportunity Explorers to determine when we can embark on a new Journey or Voyage, including communicating our capacity and timelines.

I am committed to providing a positive experience for our Passengers; helping clients bring their software dreams to life is great joy for me. I love guiding a project through each stage, from the smallest inkling of an idea all the way to a concrete solution that delivers just what you need. Navigating a project to success means that I stay deeply connected to the project from start to finish: knowing exactly what our Passengers want, understanding and avoiding any potential hazards, and always communicating to Builders and Passengers to ensure everyone understands or progress.

I graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Music degree, concentrating on music theory and music performance. Roll Tide! Music theory was my first love; as an analytical person I enjoy the mathematical and psychological side of the art. Prior to working at Airship, I was a Project Manager at FIS, leading international teams on a variety of exciting projects. As a Certified Scrum Master, I know the importance of staying flexible and working on cross-functional teams. I have spent time at various points in my career working different areas of the software delivery lifecycle, from account management and support to product management to quality assurance to release management – and more! This has given me a multifaceted view on how to achieve project success.

I am the type of person who is passionate about life, and I enjoy many different activities outside of work! My husband and I have two precious girls, Ruby and Pearl, who are my greatest joy and who keep me pretty busy. I love coordinating creative, fun, and exciting parties for children and adults; we entertain at home often (even my hobbies involve project management!). I am a lifelong learner, a voracious reader, and an adventurous traveler. I also have many other hobbies including hiking, yoga, sewing, gardening, cooking delicious food, and lots of different crafts!
