Note: We’re proud to report that Holly is now at GitLab!! Her contributions (and backlinks) are astounding, and we’re so thankful to have had Holly at the helm of our Mapping service.
As a Shipright at Airship, it is my job to help our amazing customers define the problem their product or feature is looking to solve, who needs it and why as well as create delightful, unique and intuitive interfaces. I lead the mapping sessions where we dive deep into the various needs of their project, including those of their business and customers, to chart the best course of action. This typically includes brainstorming sessions, creating wireframes and prototypes and at times high fidelity mockups.
A born-and-raised Georgia girl, I now live just outside of Atlanta with my husband Jason (also a designer) and three big furry, Shepherd-mix rescues. I’ve worked in some form of web and application design as well as some front end development for over a decade. Large corporate sites, native mobile apps, marketing websites, and web based applications are just some examples of the type of projects I’ve had the opportunity to work on over the years.
Boredom is something I never experience! I am always busy either reading, designing, working on a craft project, cooking, hanging out with friends or just relaxing with my best friend and husband Jason, while cuddling up with our three hairy German Shepherd rescues. I’m also deeply passionate about constant growth, so I’m always studying and looking for ways to improve both from a professional and personal standpoint.
