As Airship’s Lead Opportunity Explorer, I help prospects and clients solve problems and explore ways to build revenue or operate more efficiently through custom crafted web and mobile software applications. My background in engineering, operations, product development, and sales allow me to connect with teams on multiple levels. Industry experience includes computer technology, manufacturing, and construction.
Prior to Airship I served in a senior leadership role at Tubular Products Company, where I was responsible for business services departments including shipping, maintenance, tool & die, inside sales, and IT. Customers included Yamaha, John Deere, Honda, Husqvarna, Kubota, and others across the southeast.
Prior to Tubular Products Company my entrepreneurial sprit lead me to partner with skilled businessmen to start a company manufacturing products that were designed to provide erosion protection on large construction sites. Responsible for sales and product development, we patented our product, grew our business, and then sold it to Tensar International Corporation.
I graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and obtained a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Samford University.
My amazing wife and I have two young and energetic boys. We have lived in Birmingham for many years and our family loves participating in outdoor activities and kid’s sports.
