As CEO and co-founder of Airship, I am able to help companies large and small see software projects transform from concept to reality. My focus is on building a team of passionate, well-rounded engineers and business people to help Airship expand into new markets in need of quality custom software applications, qualify opportunities for a potential SaaS product, and to help our team grow personally and professionally. Airship’s experience in planning, building, managing, launching, and supporting enterprise software applications over the decades has allowed us to do what we love and give these companies products they can depend on for years to come.
Prior to Airship my co-founder Adam and I started Igniting, a development company formed to bootstrap a SaaS product for county government. County Apps grew from a mobile solution to a full suite of mobile and web solutions to help Revenue Commissioners, Probate Judges, and License Commissioners run a more efficient office while also bringing more convenience to their constituents. In 2015 we moved this product into a new LLC called Breeze where it doubled in size over the next 18 months. With its success and our founding team’s eagerness to solve a new problem, we sold County Apps to an amazing technology company in Pelham, AL in September of 2016.
I graduated from Auburn University with a BA in Information Systems Management. During my tenure at Auburn, I started my career as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Daxko in 2006. After graduation in 2008, I began full-time at Daxko as a Production Support Engineer. During my time at Daxko, I also held roles of Software Engineer on multiple teams and headed the product development on a new application within Daxko. My personal life revolves around my amazingly supportive wife, Terri, and our fun-loving children: Sawyer, Oliver, and Isla.
