On the Airship team, I am what’s known as a Builder. That means that I get to create fantastic software for some amazing clients. Helping people realize their dreams through software is a big +1 for me!
I’ve been a software developer for almost as long as I can remember. I wrote my first program on a Commodore VIC-20 and I’ve been writing code ever since. I’ve worked for a number of different companies in multiple arenas. I’ve worked for a large information technology company, a company that wrote loan software, and the United States Air Force. Most recently I worked at NewSpring Church where I wrote code for Rock RMS (a church management system), our website, and many iterations of our mobile app. At one point I also lead our web operations team and served for a time as a SCRUM Master.
I am blessed to be married to my wife Heather and we have two amazing almost grown kids. I love hockey and football (Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Red Wings, and the San Francisco 49ers). I try to read when I can, I write a blog, and I serve on the board of directors at a local community theatre!
